**Job Description**

The EVS Worker cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

**Job Responsibilities**

+ Maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by following all OSHA, state, local, federal, and Aramark regulations
+ Performs routine cleaning and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms and common areas, including vacuuming, dusting, bed making/stripping, and proper waste removal
+ Cleans and sanitizes restrooms in accordance with infection control procedures
+ Ensures all assigned areas meet Aramark and client cleanliness standards
+ Properly handles, stores, and disposes of waste, including transporting materials to designated areas
+ Maintains housekeeping equipment and ensures it is clean and in good working condition
