Engineering Shift Manager

The Engineering Shift Manager will be part of an integrated team, carrying out both individual and group responsibilities. The role includes AP duties for Confined Space and CP for specified disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform first‑line repairs on electrical and mechanical engineering plant equipment, including Building Management Systems, low pressure domestic hot water systems, heating and ventilation systems, plate heat exchangers, medical gas pipe systems, and other hospital plant equipment.


• Supervise and oversee the work of the Fast Response team during core hours.


• Coordinate activities to meet operational needs and ensure alignment with services across the Trust.


• Provide technical assistance to mechanical and electrical staff as required.
