+ Run performance reviews, calibration, career-path conversations, and PD chats. Set and hold a high bar.
+ Own hiring for the pod — partner with recruiting on sourcing, calibration, and closing top devops / platform / infra talent.
+ Build a culture of ownership, customer-empathy (engineering is your customer), and continuous improvement.
+ **Roadmap & Strategy:**
+ Own the EngProd 12–18 month roadmap. Translate company-level OKRs into a prioritized backlog of investments.
+ Build a structured intake and prioritization process across pods, treating other engineering teams as customers with real needs and real tradeoffs.
