Join Glencore's XPS team as a Materials Intern in Sudbury, Ontario. This onsite, full-time position offers hands-on experience in metallurgical engineering and materials testing.
As part of the dynamic Materials Technology Group, you will gain practical skills in equipment assessment and quality control. Your role will involve on-site evaluations of plant equipment, quality assurance during fabrication, and supporting laboratory testing for structural applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect in-service equipment on-site providing assessments
• Ensure QAQC during equipment fabrication and repairs
• Assist with repair designs including non-metals
• Conduct laboratory testing for corrosion and wear
• Manage project coordination and timelines effectively
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in relevant engineering field
