Responsibilities

• Designs and analyzes the disposition of repairs for structural non-conformances in a timely manner to restore design integrity.

• Rapidly designs repairs based on equivalent strength/stiffness of surrounding structure while in a schedule-driven environment.

• Adheres to company MRB and QA procedures.

• Interacts with inspectors, shop mechanics, other engineering disciplines and management as required.

• Maintains current knowledge of developments in aircraft structures to recommend innovations to improve quality, economy, and effectiveness of products.
