• Conduct investigations of Ship Control & Monitoring Systems (SCMS) and Platform Management Systems (PMS), assessing data accessibility and determining viable integration pathways for each deployment.
• Interface with SCMS and PMS platforms from major marine vendors using industrial communication protocols including OPC-UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, NMEA 0183, and NMEA 2000 to extract vessel data into ZAEL's systems.
• Where SCMS/PMS-level integration is not feasible, investigate the underlying PLC and SCADA layers, or work down to IO cabinets and Local Operating Panels (LOPs) to identify and tap available hardware signals.
