**Job Description:**

**Purpose:**

Under minimal direction, this position supervises staff and functions in one or more areas associated with energy market and operations.

**Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:**

Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.

+ Supervises staff and functions which may include wholesale energy marketing and dispatching, energy market systems development and implementation, wholesale market analysis, and energy risk management.
+ Supervises Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) trading and operations functions, including day-ahead, real-time and forward market activities.
+ Supervises staff participation in proposed ERCOT market design, rule making changes, and the development process.
