Job Description
**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As the EMT, you'll be responsible for the pre-hospital care and transportation of citizens in Lake of the Woods Ambulance Serviceβs primary service area (PSA) and surrounding PSAβs as requested through mutual aid. Your keen attention to detail will show though equipment checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle. Additionally, you must keep records of the vehicle use and patient contacts through the MNStar data forms. Continual evaluation and improvement of your skills as an EMT and our Service to the community will be reviewed regularly. You'll work as needed/ volunteer (PRN) in this position.
To thrive in this role, you'll demonstrate excellent verbal skills; the ability to multi-task and prioritize, and abiltiy to adhere to the physical demands. Our EMTs must be able to attend 2/3 of our monthly meetings and makeup any information/skills that were covered in meetings missed. As an EMT, you should respond to a minimum of 12 cal...
