Paramedic

Person County Government is actively recruiting full-time Paramedics to join its Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division—a team dedicated to providing high-quality, lifesaving care to the community.

Paramedics perform advanced and basic life support assessment, treatment, stabilization, and transport of patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. This position requires strong clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Paramedics play a critical role in patient care, working collaboratively with fellow EMS personnel, fire departments, law enforcement, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.

The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidate's educational background and relevant work experience.
