Job Summary:
The Employee Labor Relations Representative supports a positive and productive work environment by administering key components of eight public union collective bargaining agreements and serving as a trusted resource on employee and labor relations matters.
Key Responsibilities
+ Administer key provisions of eight public union collective bargaining agreements, including discipline procedures, grievance administration, and contract interpretation.
+ Advise officers, department chairs, administrators, directors, managers, and supervisors on handling inappropriate conduct, poor work performance, and related workplace issues.
+ Develop and deliver training programs on a wide range of employee and labor relations topics.
+ Conduct research and analysis on labor relations issues and prepare data, reports, and recommendations to support management planning and responses to complaints.
