Job Summary:
The Departments of Cell & Developmental Biology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, are seeking cluster hires for two tenure-track faculty positions. The cluster hire program is aimed at attracting faculty who are developing new technologies in the areas of imaging, image analysis, cell dynamics analysis, biosensors for detecting disease biomarkers and point-of-care diagnostics, and photomanipulation/optogenetic approaches with potential applications to human health and disease. These Empire Innovation Scholars will complement additional junior faculty hires in the two departments as part of a coordinated expansion effort.
Applicants should have established track records of funding and research productivity. Successful candidates are expected to develop and maintain a vigorous extramurally funded research program and participate in the education of medical and graduate students. The successful candidat...
