Whangārei Hospital – Full‑time, Permanent – Commencing February2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Accredited for 24months ACEM advanced training and paediatric logbook requirements.
• Strong track record of supporting entry into ACEM training and exam support.
• Work side by side with a dedicated team including 23 very experienced Emergency Physicians.
• 4hours weekly teaching, protected, consultant‑delivered and highly rated.
• Weekly in‑situ simulation training covering all aspects of resuscitation.
• Formal ultrasound training programme with supervised practice using two Sonosite machines.
• Experience in a wide range of procedures to develop clinical skills.
• Rotations to other specialty services (ICU, Anaesthetics, Paediatrics, and Medicine).
• Dedicated RSI training sessions and rostered theatre time for airway experience.
