Job Summary

Performs emergency and stabilizing procedures using protocols as directed by the EMS Medical Director. Responds to emergency and routine requests for transportation to and from medical facilities. Works well with other employees, health care providers, and public safety officials and maintains a patient or customer service focus. Provides didactic and clinical instruction to coworkers, health care providers or the public as needed. Provides documentation and records as appropriate. Maintains equipment, supplies and facilities. Performs related tasks as required. ET 3 Skills and Processes. Adheres to all NRHS policies, procedures and work place rules including but not limited to attendance, tardiness, meal and break times, overtime, safety, etc. Demonstrates flexibility in working hours to meet staffing needs of the department according to fluctuating workload.
