As a Family Practitioner, you will work in a Level 1 Community Hospital serving over 22,000 residents. This role requires advanced skills including ACLS and a CPSBC License. You will provide care in the 24/7 Emergency Department, engage in leadership programs, and work alongside experienced physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver clinical care in a 24/7 Emergency Department
• Participate in shift coverage for seasonal variations
• Collaborate with CCFP and EM physicians
• Support ambulatory and acute care services
• Engage in educational initiatives with the University of British Columbia
Requirements:
• Mandatory ACLS certification
• CPSBC license
• CCFP in Emergency Medicine
• Emergency Medicine experience is desired
• Membership with CMPA
