EMC Engineer

Scope of Role

EMC standards, EMC‑driven ECU & system design, validation testing, and systematic issue resolution to ensure regulatory and OEM compliance.

Area of Responsibility

• EMC modelling capability growth (skills, training, knowledge)
• Definition and governance of commodity and system deliverables (ensure that logical targets are available, provide quality and engineering sign-off)
• Functional alignment with Vehicle EMC team and EMC test teams
• Excellent communication skills
• Champion of JLR problem solving toolsets
• Understand programme delivery timing (PCDS)
• Delivery / support of advanced technology projects.

Knowledge / Experience – 6 to 8 Years

Essential:

• Systems engineering knowledge, acceptance of requirements and decomposition to subcomponents
