Embedded Software Engineer – Embedded Linux

Hexwired Recruitment is working with a leading engineering consultancy based near Cambridge, specialising in the design and development of advanced embedded systems for industrial, defence, medical, IoT, and communications applications.

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with experience across both Embedded Linux and MCU-based systems, to join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering projects from concept through to production.

This role offers strong variety, covering Linux systems, RTOS, bare-metal development, and close hardware interaction within a consultancy environment.
