Summary The position is located in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Tibor Ruben, Long Beach VA Medical Center (VAMC) in the Electronics Mechanic Unit. The primary purpose of this position is to perform the operation, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of electronic systems consisting of complex electronic systems where circuit theory must be used to understand the operation of individual circuits, and the possible interaction of other circuits. Responsibilities Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, tests, and maintains complex electronic systems and equipment throughout the facility Maintains and repairs low-voltage systems such as fire alarm interfaces, Audio/Visual, access control, CCTV, intercom, paging, UPS systems, automatic door controls, video management, data circuits, and related electronic equipment Diagnoses electronic system failures using schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manu...
