PCB Assembler Role

• Soldering a wide range of PTH components to IPC or J-STD standards (Class 2 & 3)
• Using X‑Ray inspection equipment to check solder joints
• Assembling simple cables, small mechanical builds, and enclosures
• Programming and operating selective soldering and wave soldering machines
• Following build instructions and manufacturing drawings accurately
• Using the company’s computer‑based system to record production notes and log time
• Reporting quality issues and working closely with the quality manager to maintain standards

Experience of the PCB Assembler

• Desirable experience soldering to IPC or J-STD standards
