Job Description
In this role, you will support critical NASA efforts, contributing to the next phase of human space exploration and advancing the return of astronauts to the Moon. Job Summary The Voice Systems Electronic Technician installs, tests, repairs, fire stops, and maintains unified power systems, converters (DC to AC or vice versa), battery plant, amplifiers, mixers, cable rack fabrication, spacing and installation, radio antenna and grounding, build and installs cable harnesses. Applications may include analog, digital, and/or video circuits and logic systems. The Electronic Technician will normally be assigned to areas such as development, engineering, test equipment, system checkout, fabrication, and the like. The chosen candidate will work on all voice systems at Kennedy Space Center, including OIS-M, OIS-Q2, PAWS, and Radios.
