Electromyography Technologist

Vancouver Coastal Health – G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Vancouver, BC.

Salary: CAD $36.69/hr – $45.81/hr.

Overview : The Electromyography Technologist will perform diagnostic tests to aid physicians in diagnosing brain and nervous system disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform various diagnostic tests and techniques to assist physicians.
• Operate electromyographic equipment to conduct electrophysiological tests such as evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocity, muscle strength, repetitive stimulation, and other neurophysiological tests as required.
• Record measurements and write technical reports for interpretation by medical staff.
• Guide new staff and students and provide input to the supervisor as needed.
