Major Job Functions:

  • Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot CAT generator sets (diesel and natural gas) 
  • Perform electrical work on:
  • Generator controls (EMCP/ECS platforms) 
  • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) 
  • Switchgear and distribution equipment 
  • Paralleling and load‑sharing systems 
  • Control Systems
  • Read and interpret Electrical schematics and wiring diagrams and single line diagrams
  • Functional testing and verification 
  • Load bank testing 
  • Perform mechanical work on:
  • Large Diesel and Nat. Gas engines 
  • Air Compressors 

    • Qualifications: 

  • Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred) 
  • HET Certification; (Apprentices will be considered) or, Willing to pursue apprenticeship
  • Electrical Safety Training – Arc Flash and Shock (CSAZ462) 
  • FSRA or FSRB credential would be cons...
