Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning streetlights ensuring timely restoration of lighting to maintain public safety and minimize disruption.
• Perform routine maintenance on streetlight systems, including replacing bulbs, ballasts, and other components to prevent failures and extend equipment lifespan.
• Inspect and diagnose electrical issues in streetlight circuits using diagnostic tools and adhering to safety protocols.
• Install new streetlights and related electrical infrastructure ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Holds a valid Electrical Journeyman or equivalent license.
• Certified in relevant areas such as bucket truck operation and electrical safety.
• Demonstrates 3–8 years of experience in street light maintenance and repair.
