Summary The position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health (VA), Administration (VHA), at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), a complexity level 1-a facility in Sepulveda, CA Responsibilities Installs, repairs, maintains and calibrates a wide variety of electrical equipment. Submits recommendations for mediation to existing equipment to improve overall operations. Relays work instructions received from supervisor to unit workers. Initiates work by designating individual workers to begin immediate tasks. Provides on-the-job training as necessary. Establishes and maintains control over work operations. Assures production output for safe, efficient, effective and economical accomplishment. Ensures that material room has enough electrical material available for workers and tools are available.
