Job Description
Position Summary
The Electrician Instructor is responsible for instructing students enrolled in the General Electrician program on topics related to the National Electrical Code, electrical installation, and maintenance of electrical systems. This position includes instructing students in a classroom environment as well as supervising students in a laboratory environment. The position may also include instructing students in a virtual, online environment.
Responsibilities
+ Instruct electrician students on NFPA 70 rules for electrical installations, wiring methods, conduit bending, troubleshooting, calculations and other materials in the General Electrician curriculum. Additional topics may include an introduction to electric motor installation and an introduction to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), specifically Allen Bradley PLC, should the applicant possess the appropriate knowledge and background.
