Summary About the Position: The Watervliet Arsenal is an Army-owned & operated manufacturing center located in New York. It is the oldest, continuously active arsenal in the United States having begun operations in 1813. Today it is relied upon by U.S. & foreign militaries to produce the most advanced, high-powered weaponry for cannon systems. Responsibilities Passes on to the workers, instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). Checks work in progress and when finished, checks for compliance with supervisors’ instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. Answers workers’ questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (e.g., technical orders).
