Position

High Voltage Lab Engineer

Responsibilities

• Run and maintain state-of-the-art high voltage labs
• Participate actively in planning, preparation and execution of high voltage tests
• Collaborate closely with a team of scientists and technicians from research
• Contribute to the definition of safe testing practices in the lab during all phases of experiments with the support of local HSE partners and the research team
• Interact with partners in adjacent Hitachi Energy high voltage labs and business units

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering with at least a bachelor’s degree (FH)
• Proven experience in lab work, including experimental setup with advanced measurement methods
• Knowledge of lab integrated programming using LabView, Matlab or Python (welcome)
• Skills in data analysis (a plus)
