Job Description
- Plan, organize, direct, and perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered light and heavy duty and construction type vehicles and related equipment
- Inspect/operate vehicles and equipment to diagnose problems and determine repairs needed & issues repair orders
- Directs and/or perform the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of gasoline and diesel engines and other related equipment and systems, transmissions and all related mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems and components
- Design and fabricate special devices and components to improve and enhance vehicle system capability
- Operate specialized shop tools and equipment such as valve grinders, lathes, welders, and electronic analyser
- Maintain preventive schedules for equipment and vehicles
- Provide a high degree of technical s knowledge and expertise for all workshop repairs aspects of the Plant workshop and Technical Department
