**MANTECH** seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented **Electrical Engineer** to join our team working **onsite** in the **Washington D.C Navy Yard or Newport News, VA.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

+ Provide technical support and assess risk for technical decisions for Ford Class Ship Design Managers (SDMs) and Electrical System Engineering Manager (SEM)
+ Collaborate with the SUPSHIP Newport News to resolve Electrical System technical matters
+ Provide written responses to requests for technical assistance or adjudication received via letter, Departure from Specification (DFS), and Nuclear Liaison Action Request (NLAR)
+ Address technical issues with ship modernization efforts executed via Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and support development of new SCDs
+ Coordinate with NAVAIR and NAVSEA Engineering Agents and Technical Authorities, TYCOM, PMS 312, PMS 378, SUPSHIP, Newport News Shipbuilding, & other activities
