Senior Electrical Design Engineer
Job Summary:
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role will involve leading electrical design projects and supporting the development of a high-performing electrical design team. You will play a key role in delivering HV and MV design solutions across sectors such as Substations, Renewable Energy (Solar, Wind), and Battery Storage systems.
Key Responsibilities
Client-facing role, representing Powercomm in technical discussions.
Lead electrical design projects from concept through to completion.
Prepare detailed design reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
Liaise with Clients, Utilities (e.g., EirGrid/ESB), and Local Authorities.
Provide technical leadership on HV/MV systems including substations, transformers, switchgear, and protection schemes.
