Genesis Technical is seeking a senior level Electrical Engineer for an exciting opportunity. This position can work out of Birmingham, AL or Greenville, SC. 


Experience and Skills

Knowledge in the application and workings of coordinated AC and DC drives systems, including drive motors, master PLC’s, power distribution, control and harmonics of drive systems.

Ability to work with drive manufacturers and driven equipment suppliers to determine drive NRL/RDC horsepower and configure drive system solutions for the pulp & paper industry.

Other duties include development of drive system architecture and interface with plant DCS/PLC control systems, specification and bid evaluations for drive systems, review and comment on drive manufacturer vendor drawings, project schedules, and comment on/assistance in producing construction packages for installation of the drives.
