Job Description
Electrical Designer, Mining Location: St. Johns, NL; Brampton, Sudbury; North Bay, ON.
As a member of the mining team, you will design and draft accurate electrical drawings, support multiple projects, and collaborate with lead engineers to meet client deadlines.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the lead engineer and staff designers to design and draft accurate drawing packages.
Create electrical drafting: single‑line diagrams, three‑line diagrams, grounding plans, wiring schematics, AC/DC wiring systems, loop diagrams, plan views and elevation/section drawings.
Assist the lead engineer in designing power & lighting layouts, circuiting, fire alarm, automation & control, instrumentation, and electrical details.
Prepare drawings in AutoCAD, MicroStation and/or Revit environments.
Plot, scan, and issue project drawing and documentation packages.
Support multiple projects, client deadlines, and deliverables.
