Electrical Controls Designer / Detailer

Location & Contract

Burlington, Ontario. 6‑month contract with potential extension. Hybrid work environment.

Role Overview

Responsible for creating AutoCAD drawings, assisting with development of associated documents, and providing design input for various control systems across multiple product lines. Perform factory assessment tests in shop before panel delivery and conduct site commissioning and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical drawings and documentation with the Electrical Controls group and Mechanical Designers.
• Coordinate with other electrical designers and assist in design and development of control systems for larger projects.
• Source new and improved components to keep equipment current.
• Maintain all aspects of control equipment to conform to customer specifications.
