Electrical Build & Technical Support Technician - Sutton-in-Ashfield - £14.50 per hour + overtime + benefits - Permanent - Site Based

A growing engineering and catering equipment business is looking to appoint an Electrical Build & Technical Support Technician to support machine build, repair, and customer support activities from their Sutton-in-Ashfield site.

This is a hands‑on role combining practical electrical assembly and repair work with customer troubleshooting and technical support. Approximately 75‑80% of the role is focused on building and repairing machines, with the remaining time spent supporting customers remotely via phone and email to diagnose faults using photos and videos where required. The equipment is modular rather than highly complex electronics‑based, so the emphasis is on practical fault finding, component replacement, and logical troubleshooting.
