**_Position can be filled as Electric Locator Apprentice 1st Class, Apprentice 2nd Class or Electric Locator depending on qualifications and experience_**
**Electric Locator 1st class**
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Under close supervision, must be able to perform locates of underground electric and fiber facilities with the use of utility maps, computer applications, various specialized locate equipment, probe rods, and/or shovel excavation. Must be able to report any discrepancies with verbal and written communications including drawing representations. Assist in working closely with contractors to ensure safe excavation processes are being followed including investigation and reporting of excavation damages.
This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and random drug testing.
