POSITION TITLE: EDUCATIONAL EXAMINER
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Valid Arkansas Teaching Certificate in Educational Examiner Certification
+ Master’s Degree in Education
+ Experience required
REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education
JOB GOAL: Complete child-find requirements to ensure that eligible students with disabilities receive a free and appropriate public education (FAPE)
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assess students using appropriate assessment and diagnostic practices within the scope of practice identified in the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education’s Office of Special Education IDEA Rules and Regulations.2. Administer assessments for all suspected disabilities within the test administration guidelines, and write and sign reports in preparation to interpret results at IEP team members.3. Assists with due process conferences and associated paperwork for students with disabilitie...
