The primary responsibility of the Echocardiogram Technologist is:
* Performs all basic adult cardiac echocardiogram procedures
* Edits tracings
* Makes measurements and enters data into the computer.
* Distinguishes between normal and abnormal cardiac findings.
* Performs cardiac sonographer duties to meet departmental needs, including recognizing arrhythmias and the implications of specific cardiac and related diagnoses to obtain optimal studies.
* Operates complex equipment accordingly.
