Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY
- Performs electrocardiography/Echo studies an all patient populations served (neonate to mature adult). Maintains communication between technical staff, nursing units and physicians to ensure tests and reports are completed in a timely manner, may need to provide on-call coverage. Participates in Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement activities and interdisciplinary teams as appropriate.
- Performs diagnostic cardiology testing in compliance with department procedure and regulatory guidelines.
- Graduate of an approved Echo or Cardiovascular Program.
- One (1) year experience preferred.
- Board certified and board registered in cardiology vascular technology preferred.
