**EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP) COUNSELOR**

**PART-TIME, AFTERNOONS**

**SUMMARY:**

+ Performs clinical assessment of client’s presenting problems. Helps the client specify desired outcomes that are mutually understood and agreed upon. Provides individual, group, and family counseling servicesincluding assessment, treatment planning, and referrals, if appropriate.
+ Clients include colleagues and family members of Saint Alphonsus and our client companies. Clients are typically adults, families, and occasionally, children from ages 10 and above.
+ Participates as a member of the department treatment team to help ensurethe most appropriate treatment of clients.
+ Documents clinical and consultative activities.
+ Works to develop and promote the programs and objectives of the department.
