Substitute teachers are responsible for managing the classroom and daily duties of the absent teacher.

Daily Rate: $150.00 per day.
As part of the SAU 39 Substitute Application process,applicants will interview with a building administrator at one of ourfive schools. If an applicant has apreference as to which school they would like to substitute at, we will coordinate an interview with that building administrator.

The goal of SAU 39 is to meet and qualify the applicants who apply to be on the substitute list for SAU 39, to value the importance of having a conversation to explore position expectations and the role the teacher plays in student learning outcomes for the day.
