Duty Manager

Boutique Hotel in Morningside, Durban is looking for a Duty Manager. The Duty Manager acts as the operational leader on shift and ensures smooth daily operations throughout the hotel while maintaining luxury service standards.

Responsibilities Shift Operations Supervise all operational departments during shift. Conduct operational briefings, daily (AM & PM). Ensure all guest requests are fulfilled promptly. Monitor staff presentation and grooming. Handle shift handovers effectively; record daily handover. Guest Relations Manage guest complaints and recoveries. Assist Guests during arrivals, check‑ins and departures. Ensure personalized service delivery. Conduct guest follow‑ups on all requests. Emergency & Security Management Handle emergencies and incidents. Report incidents promptly. Coordinate evacuation procedures if required. Monitor hotel security standards and monthly report.
