Job Description
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the shift supervisor and/or the shift team leader, the CDL Shuttle Driver will be responsible for operating a semi-tractor trailer vehicle for the loading and delivery of products to/from the plant to the warehouse in a manner consistent with all safety, quality, and operational work instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for safely operating the shuttle vehicle on each trip. Must follow all applicable laws and company policy.
Responsible for accounting for records involving trailer numbers and position of vehicles.
Must function and interact on a daily basis with warehouse supervisors and comply with warehouse safety requirements.
Must communicate using cellular telephone or 2-way radio with operations, and warehouse personnel in a courteous and professional manner.
