This role focuses on designing detailed plans using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to support engineering and manufacturing projects. The drafter works from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers and transforms them into precise drawings and models. The position helps design products that can be efficiently manufactured by applying sound engineering and manufacturing techniques, particularly within a full-service custom fabrication and machining environment.
Responsibilities

+ Create detailed design plans and drawings using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software.

+ Interpret and develop rough sketches, concepts, and specifications provided by engineers into accurate and complete drafting documents.

+ Prepare structural designs and layouts, with a focus on structural steel components and assemblies.
