Motor Grader

The following represents most of the position's duties but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.

As a Motor Grade, you will be responsible for:

• Operating primarily a Motor Grader and other heavy equipment used in a landfill.
• Performing pre-shift safety inspections on the vehicle systems, equipment, and accessories.
• Performing routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and referring defects or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Utilizing automatic grade control systems and/or GPS, where applicable.
• Monitoring all engine gauges.
• Scraping, shaping, blading, and leveling for various grades.
