The Financial Crime Operations Investigations unit (FCOI) within the Fraud&FinCrime Department is primarily responsible for processing pre-investigated cases of unusual transactional activity where fraud is identified as the primary activity and perform the filing of a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) with the FIU where required and initiate further risk-mitigating measures.

Additional FCOI is using their knowledge and intelligence to triage new cases by categorizing them based on . pattern and urgency to ensure new investigation cases receive an appropriated handling. Next to that immediate risk mitigating measure might be taken and – if necessary - further internal / external communication with additional stakeholder needs to be orchestrated.

Furthermore the FCOI function includes the responsibility to perform Quality Control (QC) not only on an ongoing base while processing incoming pre-investigated cases but also proactively across all Fraud&FinCrime cases within ICB...
