**Position Purpose:**
The General Manager II guarantees the overall success of a highly complex, 500,000 - 1.5 + million square foot distribution center environment to ensure it is a productive, safe and positive place to work. The GM II is responsible for the overall management, planning, organization and execution of complete day- to-day operation for the entire Home Depot distribution center and budget of typically $40+ million. They are responsible for maximizing productivity and expenses while working ethically and modeling Home Depot's core values. They accomplish this goal by developing strategies and objectives and leading a team of managers in executing these strategies and objectives.
