Looking for a dispatcher to join the Medic 1 Ambulance team! Our dispatch center functions as a secondary Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). Dispatchers are expected to be able to juggle multiple tasks at once. You would be answering radio traffic from Berrien County Dispatch and directing ambulances to respond to medical calls. Our dispatchers are also responsible for answering the phones, scheduling transfers, and any other tasks as assigned by the Dispatch Supervisor. You must be a quick learner who is comfortable with computers, and is familiar or able to quickly become familiar with Berrien County roads.
