Job Description
Position Overview
As the Director, Strategic Pricing & Deal Desk, this role ensures we execute at a high level across every deal, bringing discipline, structure, and better decision‑making to how we price and win business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a Strategic Pricing Desk (starting with a small team, scaling over time)
- Partner with Sales on active deals to guide pricing and deal structure
- Define and enforce pricing guardrails, discount thresholds, and margin expectations
- Apply structured frameworks to ensure consistent pricing across similar deal types
- Use deal data, win/loss insights, and pricing tools to inform price‑to‑win decisions
- Reduce unnecessary discounting and improve pricing consistency across the organization
- Work with Materials Management and Partner Alliances to incorporate cost and vendor programs into deal economics
