The Director of the NICU/Neonatal Service Line facilitates a collaborative partnership with the NICU, NNP/PA program, Neonatal Breastfeeding Medicine, Fetal Diagnostic Center, and Neonatal Follow-up Clinic. The Director provides leadership and direction for both inpatient and outpatient neonatal services. The Director is accountable for overall operations, direction and delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well-being of all patients on a twenty-four-hour basis. A high level of independence in performance of the role and/or solution of problems is expected, however, demonstrated cooperation and collaboration is equally essential for successful functioning. Reports to the Vice President of Patient Care Services.
