Director of Social Work - Nursing Home


Located near Huntington Station, NY



A skilled nursing, long term care facility located near Huntington Station, NY  is seeking a strong Director of Social Work

Responsibilities of the Director of Social Work-Nursing Home:

  • Plans and directs a comprehensive social services program which provides support services for residents and families.
  • Responsible for coordinating all admissions and discharges to ensure facility census is kept at its maximum capacity.
  • Participates in an interdisciplinary team approach to better serve the needs of the facility population.

    • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Must have BSW or MSW
  • Must have prior social work experience in long term care
