The Director of Development reports to the Assistant Dean for Advancement & External Engagement and serves as a frontline fundraiser and external engagement leader for the Whitman School of Management. The Director is responsible for managing a comprehensive portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, leading the full lifecycle of philanthropic engagement including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship with a focus on securing gifts of $100,000 and above.

In addition, the Director will develop and strengthen strategic partnerships between the Whitman School and external corporations, foundations, and organizations by identifying opportunities for philanthropic investment, corporate sponsorship, experiential learning support, and mutually beneficial engagement.
